Pg. 37 — SPACE PENGUINS by Richard Stevenson

Space penguins have arrived!
Four or five of ‘em gather for a gab
beneath their fab mushroom-shaped craft.

I toss a rock but hit a force field.
The penguins decide to re-board and leave.
Didn’t warm to my greeting, I guess.

Whaddaya gonna do? Something cool occurs
and right away you reach for a rock.
I just wanted to hear metal on metal.
