Poetry by Irina Moga

Storyline

. . . words falling on my shoulders
like melting snowflakes.

What of love that extends beyond the boundaries
of the visible world?

Your velvety tongue recounts the storyline
of shorelines I know nothing of,
of afternoons
blown away by petals –
glyphs of your allegiance to a forbidden planet,

while I wander through insomniac nights,
and the shivers of an overgrown snow moon
in the backyard.

Will you be with me through this glittering,
through a space of reduction and myths,
– the keyhole to a star?
