Richard recently retired from a thirty-year gig teaching English and Creative Writing and moved to Nanaimo. His most recently published books are a long poem sequence, Rock, Scissors, Paper: The Clifford Olson Murders (Dreaming Big Publications, USA, 2016) and a haikai collection, A Gaggle of Geese, (Alba Publishing, UK, 2017). A trilogy, Cryptid Shindig: A Big Book of Creeps and Critters, and a standalone collection, An Abominable Swamp Slob Named Bob, are forthcoming.
