11. Poetry by Jean-Paul L. Garnier

Art by Paulo Sayeg | Eden

The Big Dreams

those flying cars we dreamed of . . .

            on the way . . . ish

pills for food

            not such a great idea, really

jumpsuits

            ever had to pee with one on, a pain

our dreams were kinda small

            skipped right over the big stuff

Equality for all

enough food for all

clean water . . . clean sky . . .

            we let “progress” trample those

let the big dreams come

dream them together

bring those dreams right out of heaven

and down to the ground
