6 | Editor’s Choice Award
As is always the case, this was an outrageously difficult decision.
I kept coming back to John J. Dunphy’s poem about alien DNA. I took a DNA test myself recently and while I learned nothing about an extraterrestrial provenance, the poem revved up my science fiction engine. I think it’ll do the same for you.
Without further ado, this issue’s award of the Sloanie goes to John and the timeless joys of ancestral discovery.
